SIEDRES

SIEDRÉS is a project in pursuit of authenticity and the celebration of genuine self-expression.

We believe that we all land here with a sense of wonder and need for discovery, but either lose or suppress these qualities somewhere along the journey/during the process of growing up.

By using design as our main tool, we aspire to awaken the feelings of curiosity, playfulness, and creativity inherent in each person.

We are deliberate in everything we put out into the world, and do so with utmost attention to detail and a vision of ultimately creating enjoyment for our community.

Our journey started out in 2020 with a women’s ready to wear collection inspired by childhood memories spent under the Mediterranean sun, and has since expanded to include men’s, accessories, bags, and homeware.

Since 2020, the SIEDRÉS brand has not only grown, but also evolved. While still saluting our roots and our once-defining quality of Mediterraneanism, we are proud to have outgrown the symbolism/imagery that surrounds a particular geographic region. By designing objects and experiences with soul, personality, and story, we hope to inspire a world that is truer to itself.

Today, SIEDRÉS stands for a life well-savored, its smallest moments noticed, enjoyed, captured and shared, to later be reminisced with pleasure and joy.

Siedrés– the Turkish brand founded by husband-and-wife duo Emir and Ceylin Blige during the pandemic – has had a stratospheric trajectory, thanks to fan girls Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski, who were quick off the bat to buy its jolly beachwear. Named after an imaginary town, Siedrés’s Gen-Z-approved holiday pieces sparked Mediterranean wanderlust when we all needed it most.

Ceylin Türkkan Bilge, the Turkish designer behind Siedrés, agrees: she says crochet is “an excellent way to add dimension to clothing”. Based in Istanbul, she comes from a family of textile makers. “We can’t always find what we are looking for [in woven cloth], so making unique motifs from crochet allows us to create the designs we want.” This season, she turned ’90s-era daisy motifs into barely there tops, with a flower head covering each breast.

She's known for her fashion prowess and Lady Amelia Windsor didn't disappoint last night when stepping out in a gorgeous yellow blouse.

The Tatler cover girl, 27, who is currently 43rd in line to the British throne, commanded attention in the semi-sheer top as she attended a cocktail party to celebrate the Siedres pop-up shop on Conduit Street in London.

Showcasing her slender figure, the flattering garment boasted lace detailing and several bows to keep it together.
